Hiking through pristine nature
Whether you are after an active hike or something more relaxed, in Längenfeld Ötztal you will find exactly what your heart desires. In the middle of the Ötztal, you will find a varied network of hiking trails to suit every taste. 150 kilometres of hiking trails wind their way through the brilliant green Längenfeld Valley and over the flanks of the Ötztal and Stubai Alps. The glorious panorama trails, that circle the town at a moderate height are particularly enjoyable.
Panorama Trails
A few hundred metres above the Längenfeld Basin, there are trails with breath-taking panoramic views. On these trails, which have just a slight gradient, one’s gaze is constantly drawn to the meadows and woods, which appear to spread out at the hikers’ feet.
The Valley Floor of Längenfeld
The hiking trails on the valley floor are particularly pleasant.
There are various trails, adding up to around 40km, that take you past the many little hamlets in the valley.
In Alpine Territory
Längenfeld is surrounded by steeply rising mountain flanks that culminate in ragged primary rock summits. The unique hiking trails take you over wide cirques and past sparkling high-mountain lakes, to selected destinations in the high Alpine region.
