The Ötztal is not only an eldorado for skiers, Längenfeld is also great for winter hikers.

Farmed alps with sledge rental, or refuges with taxi transfer.

FISCHBACH - INFANGWEG

Starting at the "Fischbach" bridge in Oberlängenfeld in direction Sulztal -> go to the west across the main street and follow the bank of the Fischbach on the left side to the wooden bridge across the Fischbach -> cross the pedestrian bridge across the "Ötztaler Ache" and then in direction Oberried -> cross the river at the community heating station -> return on the broad footpath to the camping side.

Auenweg

Starting point is the caming Ötztal in Unterlängenfeld -> go to the bridge in Oberried, don't cross it, follow the street in direction Längenfeld for 150 m, then take the footpath in direction Dorf-Espan and Au. The way back takes course across the "Winkel" bridge - follow the bank of the Ötztaler Ache to the pedestrian bridge near the "Pestkapelle" - from here back to the starting point.

GRIES - SULZTALALM - AMBERGER HÜTTE

Start from the parking ground on the end of Gries to the wooden bridge across the "Fischbach" - take the ascending walk - after 1,5 hours you'll reach the farmed "Sulztalalm". Take time for a rest. After 2 km you'll come to the "Amberger Hütte" - way back on the same route, if you like you can rent a sledge on both huts.
